Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson of The Good Brothers will return to NJPW next month to compete in a tag team tournament.
On July 16, the first round of the Tag Team Turbulence tournament will commence on NJPW Strong. 8 teams were announced the the single-elimination tournament, including The Good Brothers.
NJPW discussed the returns of Gallows and Anderson, saying:
The biggest bombshell in the Tag Team Turbulence announcement was the return of the Good Brothers, Doc Gallows and Machine Gun Karl Anderson to New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
After last wrestling in the cerulean blue back in 2016, Tag team Turbulence will see Gallows and Anderson back in an NJPW ring for the first time in five and a half years. Where will the two fit into the NJPW landscape at large? A large part of that will depend on their outing in this tournament, starting with Connors and TJP.

The Good Brothers’ last match in NJPW was against Toby Makabe and Tomoaki Honma at The New Beginning in Niigata.
Gallows and Anderson have wrestled for both IMPACT and AEW this year. Both of these companies have shared talent with NJPW recently. The NJPW president has revealed the reason why the company is opting to forming numerous partnerships.
