Heartwarming MJF Comments From 2015 Surface Following Emotional AEW Dynamite Promo

If you haven’t seen MJF’s promo from last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, you probably should take some time to go and watch it.

In fact, here it is. I have made it very easy for you.

As you will have seen at the end of the promo, CM Punk enters the ring and asks MJF if the contents of the promo were true, and MJF nodded.

To back this up, the Instagram account which MJF namedropped in the promo posted a comment made by a young MJF in 2015 on their Instagram story.

MJF’s social media post from when he left college has also resurfaced. The post featured the image of CM Punk and Bryan Danielson that MJF referenced in his promo:

As you probably heard during the promo, the crowd were incredibly conflicted as to whether they should be booing MJF or not. He managed to turn himself from one of the most hated men in the business, to one of the most sympathetic and complex characters in wrestling in a matter of minutes.

This is what happens when you let someone genuinely talented cut promos with genuine and real-life emotion.
