Hiromu Takahashi has successfully gone back-to-back with Best of the Super Juniors victories today (December 15).
Takahashi defeated YOH in the finals to earn his second straight victory, and his third overall Best of the Super Juniors victory.
This victory cements Takahashi’s place at Wrestle Kingdom 16, where he will take on El Desperado for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship.
It was also announced on the show today that Katsuyori Shibata will be having his first official match in four years at Wrestle Kingdom. His opponent was not named.
