Here’s how AEW was able to use Jeff Hardy’s iconic WWE entrance theme song on this week’s episode of Dynamite.
On Wednesday’s episode, Jeff Hardy made his AEW debut, briefly dancing to ‘Loaded’ before running in to save Matt Hardy from a beatdown.
Fightful Select (subscription required) recently revealed that the song, produced by Zack Tempest, isn’t actually owned by WWE.
In an update, Fightful reports that AEW has now licensed not only the ‘Loaded’ entrance theme, but the entire library that it was a part of. It was pointed out that AEW could technically use Hardcore and Crash Holly’s ‘Slow Death’ theme.
The report also notes that WWE owns the rights to Hardy’s ‘No More Words’ theme, so AEW will not be using this song.
