Ahead of one of the biggest matches in Dynamite history, The Pinnacle’s leader MJF has hinted that his future may not necessarily lie with All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
While speaking with Steel Chair Magazine ahead of Blood & Guts, MJF said that while he does love AEW, he is willing to listen to offers from other companies once his current deal with Tony Khan’s promotion is up:
“Don’t get me wrong, AEW runs deep in me, I don’t want to leave, but I am a businessman at the end of the day, and I can’t help myself if somebody’s got an offer for me, I’m going to listen to it.”
It is believed that MJF’s current AEW contract expires in 2024, and the young star did say that he doesn’t want to leave the promotion, so don’t expect to see him on WWE Raw or SmackDown anytime soon.
WWE actually had the chance to snap up MJF in 2015 when the AEW star auditioned to be part of that year’s Tough Enough series. However, MJF was certainly nowhere near the star that he is now back then.
