Huge Championship Match Announced For AEW Dynamite

Next week on AEW: Dynamite, Brodie Lee will be defending his TNT Championship next week on AEW: Dynamite. His opponent is a bit of a surprise.

Orange Cassidy will be challenging for the title. This will be Cassidy’s first title opportunity in AEW.

AEW also announced several other segments for the show.

• Thunder Rosa and Hikaru Shida will be facing Diamante and Ivelisse
• Lance Archer, Ricky Starks, and Brian Cage vs. Jon Moxley, Will Hobbs, and Darby Allin
• Chris Jericho will address the crowd

Rosa and Shida teaming is due to an angle shot on tonight’s show. Thunder Rosa successfully defended the NWA Championship against Ivelisse. After the match, Diamante attacked Rosa.

Shida came to her aide. However, she did spend a long time looking at the NWA Championship. Something tells me we’ll be seeing a rematch for the NWA Women’s Championship. Could that happen on Dynamite? Or possibly the new NWA show airing on Fite. We’ll just have to see.

The other intriguing match is the 6 man. Moxley and Archer are wrestling on October 14. As a preview, Archer and Moxley were forced to pick 2 partners each for a six-man tag.

Archer picked Starks and Cage. Moxley picked Hobbs and Allin. That should be a fun one next week.
