Several weeks after wrestling his last match for New Japan Pro Wrestling and just days after being introduced to the crowd at NXT TakeOver New York, KUSHIDA has finally made his in-ring debut for NXT.
The decorated former multiple-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and Best Of The Super Juniors winner wrestled on last night’s NXT television tapings at Full Sail University.
Like most NXT newcomers, KUSHIDA’s first match came against Kassius Ohno, who he defeated with the Hoverboard Lock following a fairly lengthy outing.
KUSHIDA appears to be doing the same gimmick in NXT as he did in New Japan, entering the ring wearing his Back To The Future-inspired attire and retaining his familiar ring name.
Who would you like to see KUSHIDA square off with in NXT? Let us know in the comments below.
