WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has revealed he’ll be undergoing another back surgery next week.
In an interview with Sports Illustrated to promote his upcoming appearance on The Goldbergs, Hogan said:
“I’m going in for another back surgery next Tuesday.
“They’re going to fuse six levels together, so we’ll see how I feel after that.”
Hogan has previously spoken about his desire to have one final match at WrestleMania 36 in his hometown of Tampa, Florida, a match he specifically wants to be against Vince McMahon.
Whether he gets that match or not, Hogan is gracious for the memories wrestling has given him, saying:
“People have stuck by me, even when I made mistakes.
“Their love and loyalty have blown me away. The memory of wrestling still connects me to people. Hopefully it’s a memory that will live forever.”
The Hulkster most recently captained a team of five to victory at WWE Crown Jewel over Team Ric Flair.
Hulk Hogan, Flair and Jimmy Hart are said to have travelled back to the USA via a private jet and therefore weren’t part of the group left stranded there an extra day.
