Yesterday on Twitter, independent wrestler David Starr was accused of non-consensual sexual assault by an ex-girlfriend of his by the name of Victoria.
On the social media platform yesterday, Victoria posted several screenshots highlighting David’s alleged actions and misconduct. You can read more about that story by clicking here.
During a lengthy response on Twitter, Starr said the following about the future of his wrestling career. For those that don’t know, Starr is arguably one of the most recognizable names on the independent scene right now.
“If this is the end of wrestling for me, that’s ok.”
It seems like some of the promotions that Starr has worked for are already trying to distance themselves from him, as two companies have stripped Starr of their championships.
Taking to Twitter, TNT Extreme Wrestling and OTT have announced that they have stripped Starr of their respective championships in the wake of these allegations.
