Injury Teased For Top AEW Star AEW

A storyline injury has been teased to a top AEW star on tonight’s pay-per-view, AEW All Out.

The Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions Adam Cole and AEW World Champion MJF defended against Dark Order’s Alex Reynolds and John Silver (with Evil Uno) for the ROH tag title in the opening match.

After a chair shot to the back of the neck from Reynolds mid-way through the match, MJF was taken to the back which left Cole to fend for himself against all three members of Dark Order taking shots at ringside.

However in true best friend fashion, MJF would make a triumphant return to make the save and help Adam Cole retain the ROH Tag Team Championship.

With a post-match angle seeing MJF selling his neck injury, he eventually walked away under his own volition but without a complication on the way back to the locker room.

After the match as he and Adam Cole were leaving up the ramp they crossed paths with Samoa Joe.

After Samoa Joe shoved MJF with a smile, MJF actually turned around and rushed the ring.

With security pulling them apart and even Adam Cole attempting to get Max back out of the ring, it may be MJF going up against Samoa Joe sometime in the near future.

There’s also the storyline neck injury to MJF, which will likely play into the interactions between MJF, Cole and Roderick Strong, the latter of whom is still selling a neck injury of his own from months ago and has accused Cole of not caring about it.
