Jeff Hardy is best known for insane spots, but some of his ideas have never seen the light of day in WWE, including this one with Brock Lesnar.
Speaking on the After The Bell podcast, Hardy revealed a plan he pitched to WWE management that was rejected.
He said:
“There was an idea with Brock. I thought it was possible where I would do a Swanton to Paul Heyman, but I would be doing it over Brock like he was down in the corner. I would do the Swanton and he would spear me upside down out of the air because I thought that was possible. Someone like Brock, he’d be able to do that. They said no, you can’t try that. That’s insane.”
He did, however, eventually get to try it with Kurt Angle, but said that it didn’t work out at all.
Jeff Hardy returned to WWE in-ring action just before WrestleMania 36 and is set to be back on next Friday’s SmackDown. The direction on TV lately seems to be building towards a Hardy vs Sheamus match.
