Jim Ross Hopes To Call FTR Vs The Briscoes Rematch

Jim Ross has been the voice of many classic tag team matches throughout his illustrious career and would like to add one more.

Speaking on the latest Grilling JR, the AEW commentator spoke about the recent amazing FTR vs. The Briscoes showdown from ROH Supercard of Honor and his hope to be on the call for the eventual rematch.

Ross said:

“FTR has roughly elevated themselves to arguably the best tag team in the world. The match they had recently with The Young Bucks was nothing but stimulating. I thought it was just terrific. The match they had with The Briscoes, I’d like to see that match returned, because I’d like to call it. I like The Briscoes’ game, there are really good.”

The WWE Hall of Famer has commentated for many historic tag team matches from Midnight Express vs. Rock N’ Roll Express to the TLC clashes between The Hardy Boyz, Edge and Christian and the Dudley Boyz.

For AEW, he has been on the call for The Young Bucks vs. Hangman Page and Kenny Omega as well as both FTR vs. The Young Bucks encounters.

Unfortunately, JR may not get the opportunity to call a match featuring Mark and Jay Briscoe due to circumstances out of his control.

As previously mentioned, a recent report has noted that The Briscoes are not expected to appear for All Elite Wrestling anytime soon.
