Kazuchika Okada, who is widely regarded as one of the best professional wrestlers in the world right now, will be heading to AEW or IMPACT Wrestling as part of the promotion’s working relationship with NJPW, Dave Meltzer has revealed.
Speaking about the partnership between the three promotions on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that Kazuchika Okada will be involved.
While Meltzer did not disclose how or when Kazuchika Okada will be appearing for either AEW or IMPACT Wrestling, he said that the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion is one of the wrestlers who will be part of the crossover.
This is great news for fans, as one of the matches that fans are hoping to see out of the partnership is another showdown between longtime rivals Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega, who have had some of the best matches in history.
IMPACT Tag Team Champion Karl Anderson, who has been one of the main players in the crossover, specifically tweeted that Okada will be involved with AEW “and” IMPACT.
Speaking of the relationship between NJPW and IMPACT Wrestling, it was announced last night that former IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions David Finlay and Juice Robinson are going to be on next week’s IMPACT show.
