IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada will carry the Olympic torch ahead of the Tokyo games next year.
Okada will be one of the relay runners who carries the torch through Japan, specifically on April 7 through the Aichi Prefecture.

Earlier this week, Okada was named the Tokyo Sports MVP for 2019, an accolade he has now won four times.
He defends the IWGP Heavyweight Title against Kota Ibushi on night one of Wrestle Kingdom in January, the winner of which will face either Jay White or Tetsuya Naito for the IWGP Intercontinental Title on night two. The two losers will face each other too.
