After Daniel Bryan recently praised Kenny Omega, the AEW World Champion has commented on the SmackDown star’s recent words.
In a recent interview, Bryan explained why he has a great amount of respect for Omega. The AAA, AEW and IMPACT titleholder has now reacted to Bryan’s comments.
On Twitter, Omega retweeted a clip of Bryan’s praise. According to the AEW star, there was nothing ironic about the Bryan understanding his greatness.
Acknowledging Bryan, Omega tweeted:
“He gets it. Go figure, right?”
Omega and Bryan wrestled a handful of times before The Leader Of The Yes Movement re-signed with WWE in 2009, Their most recent match was at PWG One Hundred, in April 2009.On SmackDown, Daniel Bryan faces Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship one last time. If Bryan isn’t successful, he will be forced to leave SmackDown indefinitely.
Kenny Omega recently won the IMPACT World Championship at IMPACT Rebellion. Also on the show, former WWE star Big Cass (W. Morrissey) made his surprise debut for the company.
