Kevin Owens recently reacted to a post on social media speculating about his morale, ahead of his WWE contract expiring next year.
Following his appearance on Friday’s (October 1) edition of SmackDown, a fan took to Twitter to note that Owens looks more miserable with every WWE appearance.
Another Twitter user argued that Owen’s being unhappy could just be a fan-made narrative, tweeting:
“When you create a narrative you’ll see it everywhere you look”

Owens has since liked the latter tweet, seemingly putting an end to rumors that he’s currently ‘miserable’.
Owens also liked a reply to this post which stated:
“And also when Kevin Owens sees a narrative that fans are making on his behalf, he will lean into it with every opportunity.”
Owens’ WWE contract reportedly expires in January 2022. A separate report stated that WWE currently doesn’t expect Owens’ to re-sign after his current deal ends.
The former Universal Champion fuelled speculation about an AEW debut with deleted ‘Mount Rushmore’ tweets. Mount Rushmore was notably the name of his stable with The Young Bucks and Adam Cole.
