Kurt Angle has recently taken to social media to react to AEW World Champion Kenny Omega naming him as a dream opponent.
Speaking with Adam’s Apple, Kenny Omega stated that he believes that Kurt Angle is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. Stating that he feels the ship has sailed on the dream singles match,
“I felt like I just missed out on maybe wrestling Kurt Angle, and that would have been a dream match for me,” Omega said. “He’s a guy that I consider probably one of the best of all time.
“Especially for what I try to do in the ring and I try to bring in athletics and real sports. He was a jack of all trades and there won’t be anyone like him ever again, I don’t think.”

On Twitter, Angle thanked Omega for his praise. Thinking about what could have been, Angle tweeted:
“Thanks @KennyOmegamanX – Would have been a classic. Much respect!”
Angle retired from in-ring competition at WrestleMania 35 in 2019. The WWE Hall of Famer has revealed that he has since received offers from IMPACT and AEW to return to action.
