Lars Sullivan recently made his WWE main roster debut on Raw the night after WrestleMania 35, destroying the retired Kurt Angle following his farewell speech.
Since then he has also attacked The Hardy Boyz, Rey Mysterio and R-Truth in a push reminiscent of the one given to Brock Lesnar when he debuted back in 2002.
Today he took to social media and posted the following message:
“Hello easily triggered WWE universe! What are you fake outraged by today?”
Presumably under the instruction of WWE management, Lars then deleted the tweet.
Quite what Lars was hoping to achieve is unclear. It is no secret that some fans have been (unfairly) critical of his big push, something he responded to via intermediary William Christensen (who runs Lars’ Twitter account) in a tweet sent out last Friday in which he expressed his amusement about upsetting WWE fans.
Today’s tweet was clearly not part of Sullivan’s WWE character arc otherwise he would not have deleted the tweet – so it appears that he simply woke up on the wrong side of bed and decided to vent.
