Former WWE Tag Team To Reunite

Former WWE stars Lince Dorado and Mascara Dorada (fka Gran Metalik) will reunite at the November 20 NJPW STRONG: Detonation tapings.

The ex-Lucha House Party teammates are slated to face off against Guillermo Rosas & Cody Chhun of C4 in tag-team action, with a 15 minute time limit.

The duo haven’t teamed together since the September 13, 2021 WWE Main Event taping.

Lince Dorado and Mascara Dorada were released from their WWE contracts that November.

NJPW shared the following preview for the match:

Mascara Dorada will be teaming with the debuting Lince Dorado to take on the C4 combination of Cody Chhun and Guillermo Rosas.

MLW World Middleweight Champion Dorado shares a WWE connection with Dorada, and the two could be set to become a powerful force on STRONG, should they get past an established team on the northwest scene.

Other notable names who will be in action at the taping include AEW’s Christopher Daniels and IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jay White.
