Jon Moxley’s All Elite Wrestling debut is set to take place at Fyter Fest on Saturday night against Joey Janela. The match has been booked for weeks now, but it has undergone a slight alteration this afternoon.
The new promotion has confirmed that “due to the propensity for violence and statements coming from both camps,” the contest between Moxley and Janela will now be a non-sanctioned match.

Before becoming Dean Ambrose in WWE, Jon Moxley was best known on the independent scene for his involvement in hardcore matches.
During Moxley’s time with Vince McMahon’s company, Janela was one of the wrestlers filling the former WWE Champion’s void by adopting a more high-risk and extreme style.
With the likes of Jimmy Havoc and Darby Allin on the roster, Moxley’s non-sanctioned match with Janela this weekend could perhaps give us just a taste of what’s to come from the hardcore match specialist.
Below is the updated match card for Saturday’s event:
Jon Moxley vs. Joey Janela – Non-sanctioned match
Alex Jebailey vs. Michael Nakazawa – Hardcore match
Cody vs. Darby Allin
Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson vs. Pentagon Jr., Fenix & Laredo Kid
Christopher Daniels vs. CIMA
