Major WWE Name Denies Having Issues With CM Punk AEW

CM Punk is known for being rather outspoken during his wrestling career, with many wrestlers having nothing but positive things to say about him, while other wrestlers don’t quite see eye to eye with him.

A long standing rumour stated that The Undertaker had issues with CM Punk, dating back to his World Championship run and feud with the Deadman back in 2009.

However, speaking with Inside the Ropes regarding his and Punk’s match at WrestleMania 29, Taker squashed the rumours, saying that he had no beef with Punk, and that he was great to work with.

He said:

“He was great to work with. I’m very proud of that match. We sat down and we thought about ideas and everything. It was great. I had no beef with Punk, he was always business with me. Hopefully, I was with him [too].

“He was good with me and that’s all that matters. Business is business, whatever’s best for business…Everybody thinks they’re an expert but they really have no clue. It’s ridiculous online. Business has always been business and [Punk] was always business with me,”

The match against Undertaker would end up being Punk’s final WrestleMania match, with him leaving the company the following January, not returning to wrestling until his AEW debut in August 2021.
