Marko Stunt Reveals Heartwarming Text Exchange With Brodie Lee After Match

AEW‘s Marko Stunt has taken to social media to reveal a heartwarming text exchange initiated by Brodie Lee after Stunt got hurt during a match.

Stunt did not specificy which match this came after.

Stunt tweeted:

Brodie texted me after one of my matches because I had gotten knocked out. He didn’t have to, but He had a huge heart and wanted everyone to do good.

He often told me about how our time was coming again, and how I’d get him back for our previous match ❤️

The exchange went as follows:

Hey man it’s Brodie Lee, I just wanted to shoot you a quick text to check up on how you’re doing

Hey man, I’m doing good. My nose is messed up and I’ve got a headache, but that’s really it. I’m ready to go again haha

Great match. Try to take it wasy for a while. [Blanked out] if you’re into it ha ha

I’m in the process of that as we speak actually

Ha ha there ya go. Relax and enjoy the time off and then ask for a raise

The wrestling world has been paying tribute to Lee since his unfortunate passing became known on Saturday.

The sheer volume of tributes goes to show what everyone in the business thought of him not just as a wrestler but more importantly as a person.
