The circus performer turned sommelier turned WWE star has been absent from TV since Triple H took over WWE’s creative team, but did manage to make an appearance this past week on WWE Main Event, even if it wasn’t the original plan.
According to Fightful Select, the original plan for the show was for Cedric Alexander to take on Shelton Benjamin, but for whatever reason, Reggie was inserted into the match instead.
Shelton Benjamin won the match which was produced by Adam Pearce. It was Reggie’s first match since losing to Akira Tozawa on Main Event in the middle of July.
