Matt Hardy Wants Another Hardy Compound Match

Matt Hardy posted a video on his personal YouTube channel, catching fans up to speed with his character and what his current situation is, including a proposal for another Hardy Compound match.

In his video, named “Meet The MULTIFARIOUS Matt Hardy,” Matt explains that his new persona is the “Redefined” version of himself; he also explains that he learned to control his “woken” side.

If you are a fan of his woken warrior persona, however, fear not. He says if the situation arises where he is in need of his woken persona, he will turn to it (kind of like Finn Balor’s Demon), as well as V1 Matt Hardy and even the “OG Hardy Boyz.”

Matt then turns to his and Jeff’s in-ring situation. He explains that in order to prove that they Hardy Boyz are the “greatest tag team in all of space and time,” they need to capture the SmackDown Tag Team Championships from the Usos.

Hardy brings up the idea of another Compound match against whoever holds the championships at the time, called the Double Deletion match. He ends the video abruptly with his famous “delete!” chant.

Matt Hardy returned to SmackDown Live this week alongside his brother, Jeff. For the first time in over a year the two wrestled together. They hadn’t done so in so long due to Matt’s long term feud, then title reign, with Bray Wyatt.

After Bray Wyatt and Hardy lost the Raw Tag Team Championships, Matt remained absent from WWE completely since September due to a combination of injuries and what fans thought was a semi-retirement.

Their plans for Wrestlemania are currently unknown, but it seems the Hardy Boyz have some interesting ideas up their sleeves.
