MJF Files New Trademark Relating To Infamous WWE Term

New AEW World Champion MJF made his first appearance as champion on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

MJF claimed that he will be the champion for a long time, before saying that he was beginning his ‘reign of terror’.

This was, of course, a reference to the fan term for Triple H’s numerous reigns as the World Heavyweight Champion from 2002 until 2005.

However, MJF is hoping to replicate that of ‘his boy’ Trips, as he trademark the term ‘Reign of Terror’ on December 1.

The following description accompanied the filings:

-Hats; Shirts; Bandanas; Shirts and short-sleeved shirts; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts.

-Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestling and sports entertainment in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.

MJF will make his first defence of the title against Ricky Starks on the Winter Is Coming episode of Dynamite on December 14.
