More Survivor Series Matches & Details Confirmed On Raw

On tonight’s episode of WWE Raw, a ton more details about the upcoming ‘Big Four’ show, Survivor Series, were announced.

As expected, it was confirmed that a Men’s Raw vs Smackdown 5-on-5 match will take place at the show, as well as a Tag Team Raw vs SmackDown match too, the same as last year. As we know from last week’s episode of SmackDown Live, there is also a Women’s Raw vs SmackDown 5-on-5 match as well.

Dolph Ziggler, Braun Strowman and Drew McIntyre are the first three competitors confirmed for the Raw Men’s team, with two slots left open. The team was originally supposed to be captained by Baron Corbin, but after a confrontation with Kurt Angle, that captaincy was set to be put on the line in a match between the two. Instead, after Corbin fled the arena to escape Braun Strowman, Angle faced Drew McIntyre. The Scot came out on top, meaning Angle will in fact not be captaining the team as he had hoped to do.

Alexa Bliss will captain the Raw Women’s team, but will not be competing due to her ongoing injury. A match to determine three more competitors took place between The Riott Squad and Bayley, Sasha Banks and Natalya, but the match ended with no winning team. Bliss is set to reveal the full team on next week’s show.

As AOP won the Raw Tag Team Championships, it seems likely we’ll be seeing them take on The Bar in a champions vs champions match at Survivor Series as well.
