A music star known for performing for WWE has revealed that they hope to wrestle for the company one day.
Nita Strauss recently performed a rendition of the US National Anthem to open night 1 of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. According to the guitarist, she would be more than capable of holding her own in a WWE ring.
Speaking on SK Wrestling’s UnSKripted podcast, Strauss explained that she’d be an athletic competitor if she stepped between the ropes. Wanting to get involved with the action one day, Strauss noted that she’d love the opportunity to perform some high-flying spots.
Liking the idea of teaming with Becky Lynch, Strauss proved that she’s eager to show wrestling fans what she can do.
Here is the full quote:
“I’m pretty athletic already, so I imagine being a pretty athletic wrestler. If I was to ever get in the ring, hopefully someday and get to do a couple of spots, I’d like to have an interesting match. I don’t know if I can ever be as accomplished as the real Lucha Libre guys, but get some high-flying spots in. Get some interesting move sets in. That’s what I want to do.”
Strauss has always been popular in NXT. Her original song, Mariana Trench, chosen as the official theme song for NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2018. During the latest episode of NXT, a popular star quit the brand in a shocking segment.
