A tag team match between New Day and Bobby Lashley & MVP took place after last night’s WWE Raw show went off the air.
Despite Lashley being WWE Champion and set for a match against Goldberg at SummerSlam, the Chicago fans were sent home with a babyface win as New Day got the victory.
The dark main event a week earlier saw Riddle and John Cena get a win over T-BAR and MACE, but Cena was at the Suicide Squad premiere last night, so couldn’t be at Raw.
Last night’s show was full of chants for CM Punk and Bray Wyatt from the Chicago fans, but it wasn’t quite as disastrous for WWE as it could have been.
