It seems there is a ‘new direction’ planned for a WWE faction as tonight’s episode of NXT aired an intriguing vignette.
On tonight’s February 20 WWE NXT, a restaurant vignette featured Tony D’Angelo calling a family meeting.
With Adriana Rizzo and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo joining him, D’Angelo had a brand new decree for the Family.
He stated that he plans to take the group in a “new direction”, that being his direction as he wants to re-assert control as the leader.
According to Tony D’Angelo, he’s looking to reclaim control over the Family, and also control over NXT after the pair of himself and Stacks lost the NXT Tag Team Championship last week to Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin.
With D’Angelo telling Stacks and Rizzo that the time had come for him to truly become the ‘Don of NXT’, he also minced no words when laying out the orders for the Family.
Tony D’Angelo made it clear to Rizzo and Lorenzo that he was in control of calling the shots and if anyone disagreed, they could get out.
Both Stacks and Rizzo seemed agreeable to the switch up as they nodded along in agreement to end the segment.
