Two New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) stars are being advertised for the February 16 episode of IMPACT Wrestling.
At the end of last night’s No Surrender special, A video package played, featuring quick-moving shots of NJPW action, intercut with the New Japan logo. At the end of the promo, Juice Robinson and David Finlay posed before glitching off the screen.

Speculation didn’t last long. An hour after IMPACT posted the video to Twitter, they confirmed that “FinJuice” were IMPACT-bound. Confirming that the former IWGP Tag Team Champions will appear this Tuesday, IMPACT tweeted:
“BREAKING: @njpwglobal‘s Juice Robinson and @THEdavidfinlay will be in the IMPACT Zone TUESDAY at 8/7c on @AXSTV! #IMPACTonAXSTV @njpw1972“
Juice Robinson (FKA NXT’s CJ Parker) is a NJPW fan favourite, defeating the likes of KENTA and Hirooki Goto last year. David Finlay, the son of wrestling legend Fit Finlay, was trained by his father before signing with NJPW.
Both men came through NJPW’s vigorous Young Lion system. The duo won 2019 World Tag League before winning the IWGP Tag Team Championships last year.
With all the NJPW branding surrounding Robinson and Finlay, the Forbidden Door is swinging wider that we ever thought it would.
With AEW’s recent NJPW related trademark filings, this most likely isn’t the last time that NJPW, AEW and IMPACT will work together.
