John Cena will appear on WWE NXT on Tuesday, October 10 as the show goes head-to-head with AEW Dynamite and its Title Tuesday episode.
Cena will be in the corner of Carmelo Hayes as he faces Bron Breakker with Paul Heyman in Breakker’s corner.
Hayes defeated Breakker to become NXT Champion at Stand & Deliver in April 2023 but would go on to lose the title to Ilja Dragunov at No Mercy on September 30.
With Cena hyping up his NXT appearance in a WWE Digital Exclusive, which can be seen below, Hayes has responded with advice to the 16-time WWE World Champion.
Replying to the clip from Cena on Twitter, Hayes wrote:
“Heads up, when you get to the NXT parking lot call me. I’ll come out and walk you in OG 👌🏾 just to be safe.”
The NXT parking lot has become a notorious spot for beatings and the occasional kidnapping on the show.
Tomorrow evening’s episode of NXT will also feature Asuka, Cody Rhodes and a heavily teased appearance by WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker.
