NXT Viewership For October 12 Revealed

The viewership for the October 12 edition of NXT 2.0, featuring the North American Championship changing hands, has been revealed.

As per ShowBuzzDaily, this week’s show drew an average of 632,000 viewers, the exact same viewership as the October 5 episode.

In the 18-49 demographic, Tuesday’s episode received a 0.15 rating. This is up from the 0.13 rating last week’s show received in the same demo.

During the episode, Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott successfully defended his North American Championship against Santos Escobar. Immediately after the match, Carmelo Hayes cashed in the title opportunity he earned by winning the NXT Breakout Tournament.

Less than a minute later, Hayes was the North American titleholder. As per a recent report, this title change was done to make Hayes a star, while protecting Scott ahead of his SmackDown move.

Hayes is reportedly also viewed as a Shawn Michaels project. The new champion shared a backstage photo with HBK following his title win on Twitter:
