Planned Attack Threat On Saudi Arabia Denied Ahead Of WWE Crown Jewel WWE

The planned attack threat on Saudi Arabia has been denied ahead of this Saturday’s WWE Crown Jewel event.

As previously reported, the Wall Street Journal published a report detailing Saudi Arabia sharing intelligence of a warning of imminent attack from Iran in the country.

WWE has emergency precautions in case of the imminent attack, but there may be some good news ahead of the event for the company.

The Wall Street Journal has released a new report with an update, noting that Iran has denied planning an attack on Saudi Arabia or Iraq.

The report reads:

“Iran on Wednesday denied it was planning an attack on Saudi Arabia or Iraq amid civil unrest calling for the downfall of the Islamic Republic, insisting that it was trying to build constructive relations with its Middle East neighbors.

The statement came a day after The Wall Street Journal reported that Saudi Arabia had shared intelligence with Washington indicating an imminent attack from Iran, putting the American military and others in the Middle East on an elevated alert level. Saudi officials said their intelligence showed Iran is poised to carry out attacks on both the kingdom and Erbil, Iraq, and the White House said the Saudi information was worrisome.”

If true, this would remove a pretty big dark cloud that has been hovering over this Saturday’s event since the attack threat was reported.

Earlier today, Fightful Select also reported on the growing concerns for Saudi Arabia ahead of WWE Crown Jewel.
