Number 376 on the list of headlines I never thought I’d write. A police officer in Chicago is under investigation after Hulk Hogan shared a video on social media of him being given a ride in a police car.
Nothing would likely have come of the incident if Hogan hadn’t shared the video, which you can watch below as reported on by CBS.
Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer said:
A Chicago police officer is under investigation due to video footage showing him giving Hulk Hogan a ride in his squad car along the tarmac of O’Haire International Airport. Nothing would have come of this except Hogan took a video of it and put it on his Facebook page, so everyone knew it happened and couldn’t deny it. The video showed Hogan in the passenger seat and Jimmy Hart in the back seat. While filming, Hogan joked that his uber has a siren. Hogan was saying “Chicago PD for life.” Hogan and Hart were in town for the National Sports Collectors Convention at the Allstate Arena.
You’ve got to feel for the policeman. If Hulk Hogan walks up to you and asks for a lift in your car, you’re probably just going to say yes to whatever it is in case he hits you with a big boot.
We will update you on this story when details become available.
