A possible spoiler has been revealed for a major match on tonight’s AEW Dynamite: Road Rager special from St. Louis.
All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan announced yesterday that AEW World Tag Team Champions Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus will defend their titles against The Young Bucks in a ladder match on tonight’s show.
The original scheduled match was supposed to feature The Hardys before Jeff Hardy was arrested in Florida for DUI charges on Monday.
According to Fightful Select (subscription required), word was that the company was likely considering moving the AEW World Tag Team Titles to The Young Bucks following the Double Or Nothing event.
This is not confirmed until it happens, of course.
This news follows frustration emerging when All Elite Wrestling were considering to put the titles on The Hardys, but the combination of Jeff Hardy’s injury and personal issues stopped this from happening.
The segment to set up the originally scheduled three-way ladder match that aired on the June 8 edition of AEW Dynamite was filmed the week prior according to the report.
If this news is to be believed, it may spoil the result of tonight’s AEW World Tag Team Title Ladder Match on Road Rager.
