Randy Orton Next WWE Match Confirmed

Randy Orton Next WWE Match Confirmed WWE

WWE star Randy Orton’s next match has been confirmed, with the Viper set for action on Friday’s (January 19) edition of SmackDown.

With Orton returning to action in November 2023 after 18 months away from the ring, the former WWE Champion has re-established himself as one of the company’s top stars.

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis has taken to social media to announce that Orton will face off against Solo Sikoa on this week’s SmackDown episode.

This will be Orton’s third one-on-one match since returning to the ring in late-2023, following bouts with Dominik Mysterio and Jimmy Uso in November and December respectively.

WWE has now shared the following preview for the bout:

With just weeks away from Royal Rumble and the huge Fatal 4-Way for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title, The Viper is set to take on Solo Sikoa.

Orton’s ongoing crusade with The Bloodline hits the next level, as the two Superstars go head-to-head for the first time in singles competition.

With a contract signing also set for tonight, Orton will have his hands full, not only contending with Sikoa, but the rest of The Bloodline and the other Fatal 4-Way contestants in LA Knight and AJ Styles.

Can The Viper keep his momentum strong heading into Royal Rumble?

It was previously announced that there will be a contract signing for the WWE Undisputed Universal Title match set for Royal Rumble 2024.

Reigns is slated to defend his gold against Randy Orton, AJ Styles and LA Knight at the January 27 premium live event.
