At the start of 2018, Jason Jordan was on the path towards big things. After named as Kurt Angles ‘illegitimate son’ he was quickly drafted to the red brand and placed into matches with some of Raw’s biggest names including Roman Reigns and John Cena.
He was also partnered with Seth Rollins (after being named as Dean Ambrose’s replacement) and the pair would go on to win the tag team titles, making Jordan the first Superstar to have tag title reigns on all three WWE brands.
Shortly after, rumors struck up that the former American Alpha team member suffered a serious neck injury which would lead to the pair dropping the tag belts and side-lined Jordan for the foreseeable future. However, his wife took to social media claiming it to be ‘Fake News’ ensuring his fans that it wasn’t anything serious and he would make a speedy recovery.

Flash forward four months and Jason Jordan looks set for his return. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jordan is potentially set for a July return (just in time for SummerSlam.) Which raises the question, what will they do with him on his return?
Will they continue the quite unpopular ‘illegitimate son’ storyline with Angel? or (since they’re both on Raw now) will they partner him up with Chad Gable and reform American Alpha? We’ll have to wait and see.
