Reason For FTR AEW Dynamite Match Change Revealed

AEW president and CEO Tony Khan has taken to Twitter to explain why the scheduled FTR vs Natural Nightmare’s match for tonight’s Dynamite has been changed.

The promotion announced earlier that instead of taking on Dustin Rhodes & QT Marshall (the Natural Nightmares), Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood would be facing Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian of SCU tonight.

Khan tweeted:

Since last week’s show, in his everyday life, QT had brief contact with a non-wrestling acquaintance who since tested positive for COVID-19. Rather than risk bringing QT to our test site, our doc asked him to stay home & take a COVID test back in GA to protect the rest of us here

This isn’t the only scheduled match that has been changed by AEW for tonight, as over the last couple of days Matt Hardy’s opponent was changed from Sammy Guevara to Santana, following the resurfacing of inappropriate comments Guevara made in 2016.
