Renee Paquette Explains What Has Been Weird About Leaving WWE

It has been a few months since Renee Paquette left WWE. Hopefully, there has been enough time to get used to life away from the company. However, Paquette has spoken about what is still weird about leaving.

In addition to getting pregnant almost immediately afterward, Renee Paquette has said just being away from friends has been the weirdest part. Here is the quote from Paquette’s appearance on The Bellas Podcast, courtesy of Wrestling Inc.:

“I literally got pregnant the month after I left. Isn’t that crazy? We had been trying for a while and were like, ‘What is happening?’ Then right away, it was like, ‘Oh, there it is.’ But it’s definitely a weird adjustment because you’re always used to being on the go. But I did have that ease out of it because of COVID and I wasn’t on the road all the time. I was doing Backstage and flying out to LA more than I was flying out to SmackDown.

But I feel like the weirdest part is being out of the loop with your friends. You miss seeing everybody. You miss the bulls*** in the back. That’s what I miss. I don’t necessarily miss some of the jobs and stuff I was doing, but I miss the people a lot.”

Everyone has been through that. You leave a job and see your coworkers less, it is usually a pretty tough thing to go through.
