It’s being reported that a couple of popular independent wrestling promotions are going to be hitting the WWE Network this year.
The reliable WrestleVotes has reported this news, noting that one of the promotions is EVOLVE, which is unsurprising as Vince McMahon’s company purchased the promotion recently.
The other is wXw, which has had a relationship with WWE for quite some time now, and this does explain the recent status of its Shotgun show.
WrestleVotes’ tweet reads as follows:
Source states both Evolve & wXw will be coming to the WWE Network before the end of 2020.
There have been rumours for ages now about a tiered WWE Network structure including more promotions, and earlier this year we saw perhaps the first step in that with the launch of a free tier.
