Ringside News, who have had a pretty good track record of backstage scoops over recent weeks, is reporting that Bruce Prichard’s recent appearance on Sam Roberts’ podcast has rubbed some people within WWE the wrong way.
During the podcast, Bruce Prichard opened up about the original plans for WWE Raw and said that fans of the product don’t like change, and one WWE writer told the site that Prichard’s comments didn’t sit well with them:
One WWE producer opened up to Ringside News on the subject. The impression Bruce Prichard gave off in his Not Sam interview was that of someone who knows better than the fans.
“He is arrogant, entitled, all-knowing and thinks he’s smarter than the audience and that he can dictate to the audience instead of listening to the audience and presenting a product that the audience will want and support.”
We were also told there was surprise Bruce Prichard didn’t “reign himself in” before appearing on the show. Instead, he opened up and it was not a good look.
