Ringside News – who have had a good record of backstage reports in WWE recently – is reporting that Vince McMahon is being rather secretive about his plans for matches at this year’s WrestleMania show.
Ringside News has learned that Vince McMahon has “a few of the main matches in his head.” There is nothing on the official WrestleMania grid for either day.
A tenured writer with extensive knowledge of the situation told us that no information is coming down from the top. Bruce Prichard was pointed to as “the dam stopping that flow.”
The information is not flowing as it used to, and a lack of respect for the staff was also noted as an ongoing issue. Not sharing those plans is another indication of that.
We were also told that there is currently “no direction except for a constantly changing one.” WWE will have two days for WrestleMania 37. Right now they really don’t have anything locked down.
It’s certainly interesting to hear that Vince McMahon is being somewhat secretive about the plans he has for WrestleMania 37 ahead of the show this year, potentially spoiling that the company has some big and rather exciting plans for the show.
What we do know about WrestleMania this year is that WWE is hoping to have fans at the show, with reports suggesting the company is hoping to have 25,000 people at Raymond James Stadium for the show.
