According to a new report, WWE has issued a compulsory ’24/7 mask mandate’ to all talent and staff amidst more COVID-19 cases in the US.
As reported by Ringside News – which has had many of its WWE reports confirmed by the likes of Fightful and Dave Meltzer in recent times – a tenured member of the backstage team said there is a “24/7 mask mandate except while eating or drinking”.
It was previously a rule that people who weren’t vaccinated had to wear a mask backstage, but it seems like it now applies to everyone, even those who are vaccinated.
There has been concern in both WWE and AEW about the potential of large gatherings being banned again, but we haven’t seen that come into play as of yet.
