Ringside News – who have had a good record of backstage WWE scoops in recent weeks/months – is reporting that WWE creative has nothing planned for Aleister Black, who hasn’t been featured on SmackDown in a number of months.
Aleister Black last appeared on WWE TV on the October 12 episode of SmackDown, and the site is reporting that WWE still has nothing planned for the return of the talented worker:
Ringside News has learned that nothing has changed regarding Aleister Black. His name is still not coming up and there is no plan for him.
This comes after PWInsider actually reported last month that WWE actually had big things planned for the former NXT Champion, which is why he was taken off television, but those plans have seemingly been dropped.
Some have speculated that WWE is not using Aleister Black because of the situation with his wife Zelina Vega, where she was reportedly fired for refusing to stop using third-party platforms, but this has not been confirmed by any reputable sources.
