If you watched this past week’s episode of Raw live, congratulations for being so dedicated to WWE. You will have seen that “The Group that calls itself Retribution” attacked during a 6-man tornado tag match involving the Street Profits, Angel Garza and Andrade.
They also tried to attack Garza backstage while he was romancing Demi Burnett who apparently appeared on a TV show called The Batchelor.
However, if you watched the condensed version of Raw which is shown on streaming service Hulu every week, you won’t have seen Retribution at all, because both their attacks were edited out.
The most innocent explanation for this is that the show needed to be cut down to 90 minutes, but as Retribution is being pushed as this deadly force on WWE TV at the moment, you would have thought they may have wanted to keep their involvement in the show.
It is especially surprising, as it was revealed earlier this week that the group is now Raw exclusive, because nothing says chaos like only attacking one brand. The growing feeling is that WWE doesn’t really know where its going with this new faction, and editing them out of shows won’t make anyone see them as a real threat.
