It looks like another WWE star is returning on tonight’s episode of SmackDown.
Since taking over all creative duties for the main roster from the retired Vince McMahon, Triple H has been re-signing several former WWE stars to the rosters of Raw and SmackDown.
A new report has revealed that another returning star may be heading back to the promotion.
PWInsider reports that Tenille Dashwood, formerly known as Emma, was seen backstage at SmackDown today and is expected to answer Ronda Rousey’s open challenge on tonight’s show.
Fightful Select (subscription required) also confirmed this news and said that there were plans to bring Dashwood back in the company.
The former WWE NXT star was the first Australian woman to sign a deal with the company in 2011 and became an early staple of the NXT women’s division with AEW’s Saraya.
She worked with WWE for six years before being released in October 2017.
Dashwood previously worked for IMPACT Wrestling and finished up in July with the promotion.
We will have further updates on Tenille Dashwood when they become available.
