Rhea Ripley Breaks Character To Scold Fans For Harsh Treatment Of Fellow Star WWE

Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley has broken character to scold WWE fans for their treatment of a fellow star.

WWE star Maxxine Dupri has slowly been getting into the ring in recent months after she left the Maximum Male Models to join up with Chad Gable and the Alpha Academy.

Dupri has wrestled her very first wrestling matches on Raw over the past months, and has recently been getting more reps in the ring during WWE live events.

However, a video has gone viral on Twitter today of a crowd at a recent live event booing Maxxine Dupri and telling her she ‘sucks’ following her match on the show.

Reacting to the video, Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley broke character on social media, telling the fans to be ‘better as humans’.

She wrote:

I really wish that some of you got booed and ridiculed in the public eye while being new at your job. Learning and getting better is all apart of being human. Be better as humans.

On top of Rhea’s own post, she retweeted a response to her initial tweet which read:

There’s a difference between critique & verbal abuse. Booing & shouting “you suck, never come back” at a rookie who is earnestly trying to improve at their craft is the latter. There’s nothing critical or constructive about that message. Insane how many have failed to grasp this.

Rhea wasn’t the only WWE star to react to the negative reaction to Maxxine, as SmackDown’s Zelina Vega also responded to the video.

She wrote:

This is absolutely horrible. She doesn’t deserve that. She’s such a kind soul and works really hard. I would love if the bad parts of the biz don’t harden her heart. They probably just mad cuz they can’t drink your bath water Maxine.
