WWE Raw star Rhea Ripley has confirmed that she dislocated her knee during the 2023 Royal Rumble match.
The Judgment Day member had an impressive showing in the bout, starting as entrant #1, and winning the entire Rumble.
Ripley last eliminated Liv Morgan, who had started the match in the #2 spot, to punch her ticket to WrestleMania 39.
During the post-show press conference, Ripley opened up about her performance, noticing that she was choosing to focus on her excitement.
Providing an update on her knee, Ripley said:
“I’m obviously beat up. My knees aren’t very good in general. My knee did dislocate for a second, and then it went back in.
“I’m feeling good now, and because of all my emotions, I’m just excited, so I’m blocking out everything else.
“If anything, I can smell blood in my nose, and that’s definitely there, but my knee is good.”
