Ric Flair has denied claims that he has tested positive for COVID-19, but has confirmed that his wife Wendy Barlow has done and is ill with the virus.
The New York Post has a report about Ric Flair being spotted in public without wearing a mask despite his wife testing positive, and the site noted it had been told by sources ‘familiar with the matter’ that Flair had tested positive too.
However, he responded to this claim with the following:
“That is absolutely incorrect. My wife does [have the virus]… we live in a 5,000 square foot home. I live in the basement. She lives upstairs on the third floor and she got sick.”
The Post continued asking him questions about his health and he actually hung up the phone. When they continued to probe him for a response, he messaged: “health is excellent”.
Flair has been present at WWE TV tapings recently as part of Randy Orton’s run. Raw tapings for the next couple of weeks were held today, but as of this writing it hasn’t been confirmed whether he was at today’s tapings or not. We’ll keep you up to date if any more news comes out.
