Two-time WWE Hall of Famer and 16-time World Champion Ric Flair has said that WWE is in the process of building a physical Hall of Fame.
Speaking On ESPN’s The Jump, Ric Flair said:
“WWE is actually in the process of building a Hall of Fame, a physical structure in Orlando. It’s been delayed too, due to COVID.”
However, since Flair made that comment, PWInsider has since provided the following update:
In asking around this morning, PWInsider.com sources stated that there has been no updates beyond what has been discussed in the past about potential plans and that there’s currently nothing on the horizon that would indicate anything different. So, if you are hoping for some sort of announcement in the near future, don’t expect it to be forthcoming anytime soon.
Vince McMahon actually discussed the possibility of a physical Hall of Fame on a WWE shareholders call earlier this year, saying:
“Bricks and mortar is something that, generally speaking, we, other than office buildings and office space of course, that we’re not necessarily fond of, but nonetheless, again the interest in that continues to build and it’s still a possibility somewhere down the line.”
